Unique Birthday Present

A good idea for a birthday present is a birthday fishing trip. Well ... it's not a very unique idea, but a good and popular idea, however. Totally unique idea is to book a fishing trip for yourself and give fresh caught fish as a birthday present ... for example zander (Sander lucioperca) to your mother. If your mother is not happy with the fish, you can always remind her how fun fishing trip was without her ;)

Seriously, a fishing trip is a great gift and a fun experience also for all mothers :)

An afternoon on the lake

The second biggest pike on this week and a good company ... feels good :)

We'll see how tomorrow pike hit the lure. Forecast however, promises a bad weather for tomorrow, so it may be that home sofa wins?

First of May

Today was a good and a windy day for a fisherman. Big pike females were active. Was it a final eating before spawning, I hope not. In a few weeks pikes are ready to spawn. After spawning pikes are ~15% lighter, but very active catching the lure.
